Diaspora Solidarities Lab

The Diaspora Solidarities Lab is a multi-institutional Black feminist partnership that supports solidarity work in Black and Ethnic Studies conducted by undergraduates, graduate students, faculty members, and community partners who are committed to transformative justice and accountable to communities beyond the Western academy.

Film, Arts, Culture, & Tourism Specialist

Director of Programming (2023-)

Film, Arts, Culture, & Tourism Specialist is a Non- Profit 501 (c) (3) dedicated to creating a sustainable space for arts programming that can serve chronically under-resourced communities. Through strategic partnerships aimed at skill-building, training, and workforce development, FACTS works to cultivate economic development and increase prospects for domestic, inbound, and outbound tourism. FACTS also houses programs such as Trade-OFF, Direct Connect, and the Central Pennsylvania Film Commission.

Dark Laboratory

lab manager (2020-2022)

Dark Laboratory is a creative technology collective, production company, and design studio that researches climate and race through theory and action. Each initiative forms another layer of an expanding galaxy of projects on Black and Indigenous futures. The lab’s philosophy is inspired by the ethos of Toni Morrison’s Playing in the Dark (1993).

QueerStar

founding member & contributor (2020-2021)

QueerStar is an art collective created in 2020 by Celestino Pottinger. Over the course of two years, the group met virtually in order to make a zine featuring poetry and illustrations.
